The 12th hole: "Titirangi" (Fringe of Heaven).
The beginning of what members call "Amen Corner" is the long and challenging 12th hole par 4. With beautiful native New Zealand bush to distract you, your focus must remain on the green if you have any chance of par.

To make par, a good drive is essential (as is a helpful breeze!). It requires your best second to avoid green side bunkers - and there's mischief around every pin position.
Deservedly the #2 shot hole at Titirangi.

The 6th hole "Terraces"

A blind tee shot is the first of the challenges this par 4 (for men; par 5 for women) brings. With a dogleg left and severe uphill approach shot to a two-tiered green, a par is always a good score here.

[Top tip: hug the short left bunker line to avoid the dreaded looong trip down the hill if you miss right!]
