Manly Sailing Club Manly Sailing Club 65 Laurence St Big Manly, Whangaparaoa 0930 We believe that we have the best Sailing location in New Zealand.

Big Manly Bay has beautiful clear warm waters which are sheltered in almost all wind directions and are excellent for beginning sailors & easy launching & retrieving. We simply sail a little further out and get big ocean swells and wind conditions which provide exciting surfing & sailing for experienced sailors. Our members range in age from 7 to over 70 so you are never too young or too old to try sailing. We have great fun out on the water so come and join us. We run learn to sail classes during summer and we race all year round.

Aimee Bright has been selected as a recipient of the Radix Nutrition Performance Award at the 2026 Barfoot & Thompson Yachting Excellence Awards coming up on Friday 6 November at the Royal Akarana Yacht Club. Well deserved Aimee! 👏💃

The past 12 months have seen Aimee establish herself among the world’s leading female windfoilers, winning silver at the iQFOiL European Championships and Olympic Classes Regatta before being crowned under-23 world champion at the recent iQFOiL U23 World Championship, which fell just outside the eligibility period for this year’s awards. She has also won the New Zealand class national championships and 2026 Oceanbridge Sail Auckland, finished seventh at French Olympic Week and coached emerging sailors through the Russell Coutts Sailing Foundation.
