Woohoo!! This coming weekend is our fundraiser eskrima tournament (paving the way for NZ's first official tournament on Labour Weekend).

I'll be competing this weekend and it'd be great to have a couple others give it a go! We'll be fully padded up on the day (courtesy of G**o Richard and the Kalis Illustrisimo crew). Participant registrations are $35 (all funds towards the October tournament and safety gear). Spectator entry is free.

Filipino Martial Arts Fundraiser (Arnis) Fundraiser event. Proceeds will go to host the first national Arnis tournament during Pistang Pilipino 2026 (annual Filipino cultural celebration in NZ).

6.30pm Street combat class - what actually works? Can you use what you know? Let's test it and find out.

7.30pm VSCK Eskrima - come learn Sonny Umpad's incredible style of Filipino Martial Arts!

6.30pm - Street Combat: come learn to deal with a punch and also someone trying to kick you in a street context.

7.30pm - Eskrima: Philipino Martial Arts (sticks, blades, and empty hand).
