2026 Waikanae Badminton Season starting from Tonight 7.30pm till 9.45pm at Waikanae Memorial Hall. Come over and say hello and have a game.

No Badminton tonight 18th March 2025. Unfortunately it looks like the hall has been double booked and we will need to get booking confirmation to understand where it leaves Waikanae Badminton Club.

Please spread the word and we will update this page when we hear back from the Council.

Hi everyone unfortunately the council have re-varnished the floors without notifying anyone from Waikanae Badminton that it is happening our day group have learn this as they arrived for their session, because of this we can't run badminton tonight for all groups. Please spread the word.

Hi everyone Junior Badminton season is starting tomorrow night 30th April from 6-7.30PM. Spread the word invite all kids from 7 – 15yo. If you keen to know more or help out please ping Serge 0211877122 ( I don’t tent to use FB so much these days Thank you Serge)

UPDATE
Waikanae Hall re-opening has been delayed and is now likely to be 3rd of October. Drying time is taking longer than expected so no badminton tonight, we will update the page when we get official confirmation that we can resume using the hall.

Hi Everyone
Please be aware from 14th of August till 24 September the Waikanae Memorial Hall is doing floor maintenance which means there will be no Badminton. We will provide an update if there are any changes but otherwise see you tonight or when we resume after the repairs on the 26th September. This applies to all Waikanae badminton sessions Day, Junior and Senior. Thank you

Just a reminder that Badminton season has started for few weeks now. Juniors that's Ages 7-15 start every Tuesday 6-7.30pm and Adults from 7.30pm till late.

Hello everyone. Unfortunately due to flooding of the Waikanae Memorial Hall we will not be able to run Waikanae Badminton. We will wait for the update from the council on when we are likely to resume but at this stage there is little information that's useful to share.

Hi everybody, badminton is restarting at Waikanae club next Tuesday 15th of March. Day session 1 p.m. till 3 p.m. and evening session starts at 7:30 p.m.

The junior club is not due to start until the beginning of term 2 so we will update in a few weeks with details about that.

To enter the Waikanae Memorial Hall you are required to have a vaccination pass so please have it ready to show us on arrival. You are also required to wear a mask at all times when not playing on the court.
