Dust off the road bike and start bargaining with the handicapper—our friends at Wellington Road Cycling Club are kicking off their 3-race Handicap Series, and Race 1 is set to test those early-season legs!

Whether you’re looking to outrun the faster groups or suffer in style along the coast, here is everything you need to know:

When: Sunday, 20 September (Sign-on 8:00 AM – 8:30 AM | First group away at 9:00 AM)

Where: Wainuiomata Scout Hall (2 Peel Place)

The Course:

Open (16+): 47 km out-and-back through Moores Valley and down to the end of the seal on Wainui Coast Rd.

Junior (13-15 yrs): 39 km skipping the Moores Valley loop.

Cost: Free for WRCC members | $20 for other Wgtn club members | $40 non-members

Online late entries close at 8:30 AM on race day. Head over to WRCC's page to grab the entry link, check the course map, and sign the waiver before you line up!
