Today was a special one ❤️

To see our club come together the way it did today to support a fantastic young man on his journey was seriously cool to see 🙌

This is what being part of a club is all about. It's about community, backing your own, and getting behind people who are chasing their dreams.

Riley, we're all 100% behind you, mate. Keep chasing it! 💪

A huge thank you to everyone who took part, and an even bigger thanks to the organisers and sponsors who made it all happen.

What an incredible day, and one that will be remembered around Waikanae Golf Club for a very long time. ⛳❤️

More progress, team! 🙏⛳

We’ll be back on deck Tuesday to get after it again 💪

A huge thank you to everyone involved and to our Board for having the courage to make big changes that will benefit the future of our club. ❤️

While we’ve already got the gear on site and are making a bit of a mess, we’ve taken the opportunity to tick off a few extra jobs from the masterplan:

⛳ Levelling the 2nd white teeing ground
⛳ Creating a new orange teeing deck on the 8th
💧 Connecting an irrigation loop between the 9th and 2nd to improve capacity for future course development.

It’s all about making the most of the opportunity, getting these jobs done while we can and continuing to invest in the future of Waikanae Golf Club.

Plenty more to come — stay tuned! 🔥

It's astonishing what the team has achieved in just 2 weeks out here 💪 Thank you to all those involved for the love and effort you are putting into this project for our club.

The changes to the 9th hole are all go! 💪⛳

This project has been a long time in the planning, but it’s finally all underway. Here’s what the start of Week 2 looks like!

We’ve almost completed the tee end of the hole, made massive progress at the green end, and are bringing in over 6,000m³ of sand to raise and contour the fairway.
The rest of this week is more of the same before we start working towards the practice area, installing drainage and irrigation, and eventually hydroseeding. 🔥

We’ll keep the updates coming as we bring this vision to life!

A huge thanks to Alexander for the amazing content, and to Tataurangi Golf and their team for all the mahi that’s going into creating something special for Waikanae Golf Club. ❤️

For anyone who's grown up on the golf course ⛳ Spending endless summers with mates on the links, this one will melt ya.

It's unreal to see so many kids out here discovering the game and all the fun that comes along with being around it 🙏

Let's not forget what it's all about 🏌️

A huge thank you to the incredibly talented Ash from Alexander for putting this together for us! ♥️

There’s so much happening out here, and we’re having an absolute blast creating our new 9th hole for you all to enjoy. ⛳

There’s a lot more to building a golf hole than you might think, so we’re taking you along for the journey and giving you a behind-the-scenes look at how it all comes together.

Stay tuned — there’s plenty more to come! 🔥
