Waikanae Bowling Club is trucking along just nicely thank you.
Brian took charge again this week while Helen managed the Raffles.
This young lady (Irene) not only was selling "The Joker" entries, but she also managed to buy the winning ticket herself.
Well done Irene, even you though, in such a prime position this week, was unable to find where the Joker is hidingšŸ¤£
It lives another day.
Surely its gotta go soon. Its well over $2200. Someone going to get it soon.šŸ˜
It could be you.
See members next Friday, 23rd Oct for the Bangers and Burgers night.

Two different days for the mens and womens triples champs this weekend.
Saturday for the playoffs was hot and sunny.
Sunday, for the finals was damp and clammy.
In saying all that some great bowls was produced on both days.
See if you can figure out which days tgese photos were taken.

Well thats good news about our Friday Joker still there for someone to win in the coming weeks
Check this out though for "Good News Story".
Local contractor "Quinny" from Quinns Contracting heard that we needed a helping hand clearing out a huge pile of unwanted junk that had accumulated over recent years.
Not alot really just 2 massive 8m3 Skip Bins.
We had the Skip bins, Quinns Contracting just turned up and offered to bring their mini digger along and load up the bins for us.
Well what a team, 3 strapping young men and they loaded them up in a flash and even came back the next day to tidy up and finish off.
Check out these photos.
A great team effort.
Thank you Qinns Contracting
I can highly recommend them. No job to big or small.

Wow! A lot has been happening at the Waikanae Bowling Club
during this last week.
Lets just check out the Joker for a start.
Trish left the Joker behind for someone to cash up.
It will soon be over $2000 if it goes on for the next couple of Fridays.
No wonder Friday "Nibbles and Drinks" is getting more and more popular. Between 70 and 80 were at the club sharing this memorable happy hour
Here's Trish leaving it for some other social club member to gleefully walk away with winning the JokeršŸ˜‹
See if you can guess which one is the real Joker
