💙ALLSTARS GO BACK‑TO‑BACK! 💙

Following the outcome of the Speedway New Zealand Appeal Hearing, the Auckland Allstars have officially been declared the winners of the 2025/26 New Zealand Superstock Teams Nationals, successfully defending our title. 🏁🏆

Firstly, we want to acknowledge and congratulate the Gisborne Giants.

This appeal was never about the Giants, their team, their drivers, or anything they did on the track. They raced their hearts out, as they always do, and we have nothing but respect for them and their supporters.

The appeal related solely to the determination of the official race result and the process used to identify the winning car at the conclusion of the Final.

Following a detailed review of timing data and race footage, the independent Appeal Panel unanimously determined that 74A Codi Chatfield was the first driver to complete the race distance, and that the result should be amended accordingly.

Lap scoring issues on the night resulted in both the white and chequered flags being shown to a Gisborne Giants car who was in second place at that time. Today’s decision confirms that result has now been corrected.

This has been a challenging situation for everyone involved. The circumstances arose from a procedural issue in determining the result on the night, not from any action taken by the Gisborne Giants team. We fully acknowledge that they celebrated in good faith based on the official result at the time.

Our drivers and team are incredibly proud of this outcome. It follows a gruelling weekend of teams racing, where we overcame significant challenges just to make the Final, and then delivered against a very strong Giants team.
