We have a full‑time role available ASAP for someone reliable, friendly, and confident in a busy café environment.

🕒 Hours:
Monday to Friday — 8:00am to 3:30pm

✨ Role Includes:
• Using the fryers
• Making coffees (barista experience preferred)
• Serving customers
• General cleaning and café upkeep

Just a gold coin donation to enter! Take a guess and be in to win.

🌭 Sausage Sizzle — Thursday
Grab a hot sausage and support the Child Cancer Foundation.
🥤 Coke or Lemonade available for a donation — kindly donated by Coca‑Cola.
🍞 Bread kindly donated by Waimate New World.

🧁 Mini Muffins for Sale — Friday
All proceeds go directly to the Child Cancer Foundation.

🌈 LAST WEEK FOR HOT ROASTS!
With the weather turning more summery, this will be our final week of hot roasts for the season.

Keep an eye out — we’ve got some new goodies rolling out over the next few weeks to take their place. Fresh, fun, and perfect for the warmer days ahead.

🌈 Rainbow Dairy & Café Wig Week Announcement

Rainbow Dairy & Café will be fundraising for Child Cancer Foundation from 7/9/26 until 11/9/26 — a whole week full of fun!

We’ll have bright colored wigs, spot prizes for customers who come in wearing a wig, and plenty of cheerful energy in the shop.

Join the fun, get behind us, and help raise money for the children.

Annabel’s official last day 💛

Unfortunately she’s been hit with that nasty flu that’s going around, so we don’t get to give her the big send‑off she deserves. But we still want to celebrate her, because honestly… she’s been an absolute legend.

Nothing was ever a problem. She stepped up as 2IC and became my rock — always steady, always reliable, always giving things 110%. And on top of all that, she’s been a bloody good friend.

Always laughing. Always doing something silly that made the whole team crack up. That’s the stuff we’re really going to miss.

Annabel, thank you for everything you’ve done for us here at Rainbow Dairy & Café. We wish you all the very best for your next journey. Go smash it, We know you will be great.

She’s alive… and she’s caffeinating
Our coffee machine is fixed and steaming beautifully again today.
Flat whites, lattes, long blacks — they’re all back on the menu.
Pop in and warm up with us.

Uh‑oh… the coffee machine needs a nap!
Our trusty machine has decided today is a rest day, so hot coffees are off the menu for today.
Don’t worry — we’ve still got iced drinks, cabinet treats, hot food and smiles ready for you.

As many of you would already know, yesterday we lost a very special member of our staff, this was a shock for everybody. We decided to close the shop so the staff could all be together and support each other during this difficult time and to show respect to Gaye and her family. We pass on our deepest condolences to Phil and the rest of the family and to Addie who is also part of Gaye's family.

Gaye you were one of a kind, cheeky, always keen for a joke or two and we all know how much you hated doing dishes! You did make that very clear hahahaha

We are all still very upset but want to remember all the times we had together.

Please be patient with staff if they need to take a minute for themselves.

Sleep well Gaye, we love you
