What a blast it was at the “Take a Kid Fishing”event last Sunday🎣 It was such a great opportunity for kids to get outdoors and have a go at fishing🐠🤍

We hope our ice-blocks kept everyone nice and cool on such a fantastic day!🍦 Very well-deserved Waipu tamariki‼️

Looking for a fun family outing this Sunday? Cast a line and make some memories at Take a Kid Fishing, one of the exciting Have a Go events featured in the Bream Bay Festival of Sport.

It’s a fantastic opportunity for tamariki in our community to give fishing a go. Every registered child (12 years and under) receives a free sausage sizzle, drink and ice block, plus the chance to win prizes for the Longest Sprat (Boys), Longest Sprat (Girls) and Longest Other Species. Registrations on the day, bring the whānau along and join in the fun!
