Waipukurau Lawn Tennis & Squash Club

Waipukurau Squash Club was well represented with seven adults and ten juniors taking part in the Surf City 2026 Open, and Under 625 Series held in Gisborne over the weekend.

Congratulations to Jamarl Hansen and Sam Winlove placing first in their divisions. Also to Mark Winlove, Carey Jamieson Donald and James Tippett coming runner-up in their divisions.

A big thanks to Surf City Squash - Poipātū o te Tāone Ngaru for once again hosting an outstanding tournament.

Thank you Dino Michalakis and Julianne Michalakis for another great day of squash for our juniors.

Lastly, thanks to our club members for travelling and representing. Having everyone there to support each other always makes for a great, fun weekend.
