The World Cup is taking over Hawke’s Bay these school holidays! Come and join us for 2 days of World Cup Fever!

Players will report to their National team training camp on Day 1, then compete in the ultimate 5-aside World Cup on Day 2 in this exciting football holiday programme experience.

Reminder to everyone that junior football is scheduled for tomorrow, then we have a 2 week break for the school holidays, resuming on July 25th

All junior football training at Russell park on Tuesday 30 June is cancelled due to the ground conditions.

Local junior football is cancelled today due to the ground conditions after the adverse weather in the last 24 hours.

Intercity games to proceed as planned by Central Football.

It’s pretty wet out there! We will assess the conditions and will post tomorrow by 7:30am to confirm whether football is on or not

CHB Junior Football is run by a small but dedicated group of volunteers who are passionate about the game and committed to creating opportunities for children across Central Hawke's Bay.

With football continuing to grow in popularity, we're excited to help young players develop their skills, confidence, and love of the game. Our weekday training sessions are designed to be fun, engaging, and focused on learning, with coaches and volunteers generously giving their time to support every child.

To make the most of these sessions, we ask that all players arrive with a positive attitude, ready to listen, learn, and give their best effort. Respect for coaches, volunteers, teammates, and each other helps create an environment where everyone can thrive.

Thank you to our amazing volunteers and supportive whānau for helping make junior football such a positive experience for our community.

Reminder that there is no local junior football this Saturday (30 May) due to Kings Birthday weekend. See you on June 6th when local junior football resumes.

Intercity games to be played as scheduled this weekend

Did someone say sausages, lollies, and drinks? Waipawa primary school is running a stand with all the good stuff at the netball courts this Saturday from 9am to 12:30pm. Please come and support this great school and treat yourself after/during football - win win! 🙂

Local Junior Football is all set to start tomorrow at 9am at Russell Park, looking forward to another great season!

We have some amazing local businesses supporting us for our coaches choices awards this year! We are so very lucky to have such generous support from New World Waipukurau for our 7-8 and 9-12 aged teams and from Stella's Cafe for our 4 - 6 year old group!

Please support these amazing community focussed businesses as much as you can to show how grateful our CHB Junior Football Club whanau are for their help!!

We have a different field layout for this season, so please have a review the diagram to make sure you get to the right area of Russell Park.

We will be distributing CHB Junior Football Club shirts for the 4-6 and 7-8 grades tomorrow (9-12 grade shirts will be handed out in a couple of weeks). Please remember that these shirts have been very generously donated by Centralines and we need to have them returned at the end of the season so the next season of footballers get to enjoy playing in them.
