𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐊𝐈 𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓 & 𝐑𝐄𝐂 𝐈𝐍𝐂:
The organisation is dedicated to fostering community well-being and engagement through sports and recreation. We manage and develop facilities and programs that enhance the quality of life and create opportunities for the people of Waitara and the surrounding North Taranaki district. We have two locations we manage, Waitara War Memorial Hall and Whai Tapuwae nō Rongo. Both venues play a hub for hosting sports and community activities.

𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as an Pou Āwhina. This role is responsible for managing NTSRINC's financial responsibilities, providing venue booking support to the Facility Manager including some reception duties.

This role will operate under the Facility Manager for direction for all operational matters including reporting, to ensure smooth day-to-day functions.

We value someone with a genuine passion for the community and a heart for service, who is motivated by making a difference.

𝐊𝐄𝐘 𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐁𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐒:
●Financial Management
● Administration Tasks

𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐒𝐊𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐀𝐓𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐁𝐔𝐓𝐄𝐒:
● Strong organisational and time-management skills
● Excellent communication skills, including writing skills and note taking
● Experience in working with community organisations
● Bubbly, friendly personality
● Proven work experience as an accounts administrator or similar role
● Experience working within Xero, Smartly, Excel, Microsoft Office 365 and G-Suite
● Qualifications in finance, accounting or relevant field is desirable
● Passion for Waitara and community engagement.
● Availability to work outside of standard hours when required, with a flexible, volunteer spirit.
