NZ PUREBRED SIRE OF THE YEAR - CHELLEASON SKY HAWK (AU)

We’re incredibly proud to accept the award for Purebred Sire of the Year for Chelleason Sky Hawk aus (Saudi El Perseus BR x Sophia WV USA).

To win this award once is pretty special, but to receive it for the third time is something we’re really proud of. Sky has continued to prove himself through the quality of the offspring he’s producing.

It’s been so rewarding to see breeders choose Sky for their breeding programmes and to see others welcome his offspring into their lives. He consistently passes on beautiful Arabian type, correctness, and progeny that are willing, kind, and eager to learn. The biggest reward for us is seeing his offspring out and about, succeeding in many disciplines.

A huge congratulations to Jess Thomson with Golden Shelter Jullyen Skye (Chelleason Sky Hawk x Ahnshahn Jullyanna aus) and to Kristal Caughey and Phillip Henderson with Graemar Alexei (Chelleason Sky Hawk aus x JA Taleeka). It was so fabulous watching you all out there enjoying your boys this season. We love watching your journeys together.

A special mention must go to Isla Mutch and her beautiful mare Mauku Symphony by Chelleason Sky Hawk x Mauku Mystique- winners of the Junior FEI Series and the Reid Family Trophy for Points accumulated as a FEI entry combination over all national junior FEI Endurance classes during the 2026 season at the Equestrian Hall of Fame awards 🤩 ♥️

We’d also like to give a special thank you to Michelle Thomas, Sky’s breeder. Thank you for your vision, dedication, and belief in Sky from the very beginning. We’re incredibly grateful for everything you’ve done and for the opportunity to continue his journey.

Do we have Arabian enthusiasts in the Manawatu District who would be willing to help out at the Manawatu A&P Show on Saturday the 7th of November to run the Arabian ring?

Their organising committee is looking for a capable person to help co-ordinate this ring and help find stewards etc. Please contact either Mark Milmine or Angela Rogers if you know of someone who might be willing to put their hand up to help.

The A&P Shows cant continue to run our Arabian Rings without our continued help!!
