Best of luck to these 3 gorgeous dancers competing at the National Young Performer Ballet Awards in Palmerston North today and throughout the weekend!

Each dancer earned their nomination through a PACANZ competition, qualifying them to attend this prestigious event.

Lucy Wellington (16) and Annabel Harridge (16) are senior dancers at our school, and Cienna Hearle (15) now trains at Chilton Ballet Academy in Wellington.

We’re so proud of you all and wish you the very best of luck. Enjoy every moment of this wonderful experience!

What a fantastic celebration of local talent at Wānaka’s Stars In Your Eyes event at the Lake Wānaka Centre last week!

A special shout-out to Hannah Gillespie, lead choreographer, who spent many hours over several weeks creating choreography and working with the dancers to support local singers who transformed themselves into legendary rock stars.

Well done to dancers: Ana Olley, Annabel Harridge, Lucy Wellington, Jannette Santos, Hannah Gillespie, Olive Sinclair, Kath Nicholson, Kim Coll and Ash Hughes.

Congratulations to the entire Wānaka Stars In Your Eyes team, including Director Janine Weatherly, Musical Director David Barker, and the many front-of-house and backstage volunteers who helped make this another outstanding community event.

We have so many talented and hidden gems in our community!
