We can’t wait to see you both on the trails this season.

We’d also love to take a moment to thank you, our community. The support for this has blown us away, from the nominations to the votes and the way you got behind each other. This is why we do what we do.

Tomorrow’s plan: ride, bites, brews, repeat, then do it all again on Sunday and Monday. Opening Day is Saturday 24 October and it’s Labour Weekend, so you’ve got no excuse not to get a few laps in.

The shuttles are running every hour and the rental fleet is ready. See you out there.

We’re finalists! Bike Glendhu has made the cut at the 2026 Wānaka Business Awards, in Excellence in Visitor Experience and in Business Sustainability & Environmental Impact. Big thanks to the crew, our partners and everyone who shows up for this place. We’re lucky to work in the best office in the world, and share it with an epic community.

We’re also in the running for the People’s Choice Award, and that’s where you come in. Voting is open on the Wānaka App and we’d love your vote. Winners are announced at the Awards dinner on Friday 13 November, so wish us luck and get voting.
