Long uncrowded slopes, legendary off piste terrain, unrivalled views and genuine personal service. This expansive mountain has the longest vertical rise in the Southern Lakes with far reaching boundaries spread over two large basins. Mother Nature has taken care of the terrain sculpting fun gullies, wide faces and exciting undulating runs. Friendly faces and top notch service allow visitors to take control of their day and make it truly memorable.

Dust off the onesies and dig out the fancy dress, TC closing day is this Sunday. A Treble Cone tradition and one of the best days of the year.

A few things to help everyone have a great day:

Look out for each other. Good vibes only, and keep it friendly out there.

Lifts are for clear heads. If you’ve had a few too many, our lift crew won’t be able to load you, so pace yourself and save the celebrating for the Aprés.

Take it easy in the slow zones, especially on Triple Treat. Our team will be keeping an eye out, please be respectful of other skiers 

Sort your ride home before you head up. Book a shuttle, or designate a sober driver. Getting everyone home safe is the best way to finish the season.

The Wānaka Police will be up for the day too, so come say hi.

This week we planted another 300 native plants at Treble Cone as part of this year’s Plant a Seed project.

Since 2018, the Cardrona Foundation has planted more than 13,000 natives across Cardrona and Treble Cone.

The seeds are gathered from around the maunga and grown in our nursery at the base of the mountain.

This year was supported by Mons Royale, helping us make the maunga as healthy, biodiverse, and beautiful as it can be.

Over time these plants will help restore the landscape and give native species a better chance to thrive.

Local schools are actively involved in our replanting projects, helping to educate the next generation about horticulture and kaitiakitanga.

Thanks to everyone who got their hands dirty and helped out.
