Both have previously served as Chair, and we are grateful for the time and dedication they have given to the club.

We were so lucky to be invited along to speak at 100+ People Who Care Dunedin!

It was such an awesome night getting to share what we do, alongside the Dunedin Curtain Bank and K9 Medical Detection NZ.

We were also raising funds towards our new yellow tent, so a huge thank you to everyone who made additional donations. We really appreciate your generosity!

A big thank you to Nick and Kerah for organising such a great group and giving local charities and organisations the opportunity to share what they do.

Wow - three years down next week! It's hard to believe that a simple idea has turned into an impactful giving group that has contributed tens of thousands of dollars back to the local Dunedin community!

To celebrate, I'll be providing antipasto platters, sandwiches, and savouries from 6:00pm–7:00pm for anyone who would like to come along for an informal catch-up before the meeting. Each year this has been a great opportunity to introduce friends, family, or colleagues to what 100+ People Who Care Dunedin is all about, so please feel free to invite others along. The more the merrier 😊

The meeting itself will run as usual from 7:00pm–8:00pm upstairs at Otago Golf Club. Once parked, walk along the front of the golf club past the Pro Shop to the clubroom entry stairs, which will be clearly signposted. Wheelchair access is available by parking in the upper car park and entering through the rear of the building into the function room.

A big congratulations to Jem, Jonty, Jonathan and Molly, who represented our Junior and Senior Competition Teams at the Otago Southland Region Pool Rescue Championships at Te Puna O Whakaehu in Mosgiel over the weekend. 👏🏊

Everyone did an awesome job, with some great individual performances across a range of events. We're really proud of the effort, commitment and sportsmanship you all showed. Well done, team! ❤️💙🤍👍🏼

This is an in-person meeting which will be held on Sunday 16 August, 2026, 3pm at Warrington Surf Life Saving Club.

This year we are pleased to include the nomination of three new life members: Wayne Fa’asega, Ken McHoull and Mark Hastie. This nomination will be voted on at the AGM.

One of our club members Jemimah is planning to swim the Cook Strait this summer! 🌊

As part of her preparation, she's set herself the incredible challenge of swimming around every island in Dunedin. Check out these photos of her recent swim around White Island.

Congratulations to all of Warrington’s winners at the 2026 Otago Southland Awards of Excellence! ❤️💙🤍

A very special mention to Wayne who was awarded the Presidents Trophy for Outstanding Contribution. Wayne played a core role in the design and development of our new lifeguard building. This, and his ongoing contribution to surf sport, make him a very deserving recipient of this award. Congratulations Wayne!
