We're in a trial phase of adding 'Rainbow' categories to our events moving forward.
This is in a trial phase and there may be a few areas to refine with timing and eventplus but we'll get there!

So, we've decided to bring back race day prize giving after the WUU2K.
Surprisingly enough we only did thus in year 1 and at that time we were at Tuatara bar. It was fun, but a bit chaotic for me to host directly after a massive day!
Since then we had prize giving the day after, and then since covid, we rolled it out casually over the day. I then had cancer soon after and shied away a bit from big crowds as well. A bit selfish on my part so apologies for that.
This year, it'll be race day evening around 8pm at WAITOA Victoria Street.
Placed winners will still receive prizes as they finish, and prize giving at WAITOA will be optional to attend. It'll be more of a bit of fun, share a drink and relive some highlights of the day.
WAITOA on Victoria Street isn't massive but let's pack it out anyway and help share our love of trails and the WUU2K

Probably the closest ill get to hitting the race winning finish line ribbon.
We always get a strong field for our events, and the pointy end of the field always pushes the boundaries of human endurance.
