“First and foremost, it’s an extremely proud moment for myself. It’s an honour to be a Coach at BNU football club. The last 3-4weeks have gone extremely quick and it’s been a really happy time for me because of the opportunity to be back in the Capital Football League for my family and me and the opportunity to be closer to football. They’re the two main reasons why this was the right move for me.”

Wellington Rewa FC is looking for more local players to join the team and join the training for the upcoming tournament in January.

Also we are looking for sponsorship, Donations and people to help us in doing some fundraising for upcoming tournaments early next year

Our journey in the IDC 2023 has ended in the semi losing 3-2 to Nadroga

Fought hard till the end but lack of financial, support from community , fitness of players and unavailable substitutions has knocked Wellington Rewa Fc out of the tournament .

We shall regather our squad and make the best team again for next tournament BOG in January 2024.

Wellington Rewa Fc would like to thank a special member of the team who has been a backbone for the team from past 3-4years.

Working long hours 5-6 days a week to give financial support from her own pocket to even getting the teams jersey washed and ready , getting the lunches and snacks ready,
Constantly checking what the team needs and wants are and most importantly checking if we do have a team. her joys when the team scores and hiding her tears away when we lose so the players don’t get worried and just keeps focusing on the next games.

Her dreams to lift the Cup one day will surely come.
