104 students. 🚀 23 teams of brilliant minds. 🤖 One epic underwater robotics competition. 🌊

This Thursday we're proud to host the Ministry of Inspiration Wellington AquaBots competition, where students will showcase the underwater robots they've designed and built themselves.

Engineering, innovation, teamwork, and plenty of friendly competition all in one pool!

Good luck to everyone taking part. We can't wait to see these AquaBots in action! 💙

While the event takes part, aqua jogging and swim lanes will be available in the 2m area of the main pool:

9am-1.30pm - 3 swimming and 1 aqua jogging
1.30-2.30pm - 1 swimming and 1 aqua jogging

🏊‍♀️ School Swimming Sports Season Begins at WRAC! 🏊‍♂️

Tomorrow, WRAC hosts the first of several school swimming sports events taking place over the coming weeks.

Best of luck to all swimmers—we can't wait to see some fantastic effort and plenty of smiles on display! 🏅👏

Public swimming and aqua jogging will be in the 5m while the events take place.

The Water Polo New Zealand Under 18 Division 1 National Championships are underway at WRAC, and our local team, the Harbour City Hawkes U18 Women, are ready to take on some tough competition.

🏆 Get ready for four days of exciting water polo action as the Water Polo New Zealand Under 18 Division 1 National Championships take place from Thursday 16 July to Sunday 19 July! 💦🤽‍♀️

The best young talent from across New Zealand, joined by teams from Queensland, will compete for national honours in what promises to be a fantastic championship.
