Organizing this auspicious occasion for the Fifth consecutive year came to a fruition yesterday, and we are honored to thank all participating teams for their contributions.

Without your contribution we wouldn't have achieved our intended goals.

We would like to extend a big vinaka vakalevu to Fiji's High Commissioner to New Zealand H.E Ratu Inoke Kubuabola and his team for their guidance throughout the year.

Our sincere gratitude to Fiji Airways for sponsoring a return trip for two to Fiji which will be drawn on 7th March 2026.

A special thank you to Pan Pac New Zealand, Mexted Contractors Limited, Wellington Referees Association, Huddy Sports livestream, Wellington Ambulance for providing their exceptional first aid services, Standby Generator Ltd, Wainuimata Rugby Club, Vaka Tautua and all the food stall owners that promoted the authentic Pacific signature delicacy dish which reminded the spectators of their home away from home.

A Big thank you to our spectators for their unwavering support and braving the cloudy condition but thankfully we were blessed with a good weather at the end.

The Wellington Fijian Flyers took victory in a close game beating Rotorua Fiji 7-0. Plate winner went to Waikato penguins beating the St Johns team from palmerston north and the bowl trophy was claimed by Havelock Rugby Club 2nd by Veitokani brothers from Whanganui.

Jeremiah Collins was named man of the match performing his outstanding skills in the abbreviated code. He is also a member of the Wellington Lions team.
