After 27 years at Pak’nSave Kilbirnie, including the past 16 years as owner, it’s time for me to call it a day.

What an incredible journey it has been. I’ve loved every minute of it…well, maybe not the COVID years!

To our loyal customers, thank you. It has been an absolute privilege to serve you, and your support is something we have never taken for granted.

To our amazing team, thank you for your hard work, loyalty and commitment over the years. You are the heart of this business, and I couldn’t be prouder of everything we’ve achieved together.

Having grown up in the Eastern Suburbs, it’s always been important to me to give back to the community that has given so much to our family. I hope we’ve been able to make a positive difference over the years.

On Monday, Antony and Ruth take over as the new owners of Pak’nSave Kilbirnie. I wish them every success and know the store is in great hands.

Finally, thank you to my Father, Brian, and my wife, Lisa, for your support over the years.

Thank you, everyone. I’ll always be proud to be part of this incredible community.

Cheers,

Dean Galt

Following the sale of Pak n Save Kilbirnie, the Trust is entering a new era.
Moving forward, the Trust will operate independently with a renewed focus on community, connection and supporting grassroots sport across Wellington’s eastern suburbs.
We remain passionate about helping local people stay involved and thrive in sport.
Although the Trust’s structure is changing, our commitment to local sport remains stronger than ever.
We’re incredibly proud of what has been achieved so far and grateful to everyone who has supported the journey over the years.
We’re excited about what comes next and look forward to continuing to back local sport, local clubs and local communities into the future.
