Congrats to our students for passing recent grading exams! This was the first time we've held official NZKF gradings in Wellington.
Wellington Iaido Club trains Tues & Sat at 13 Vennell St, Brooklyn. Iaidō is a Japanese martial art focused on drawing and cutting with the Japanese sword.
Iaidō is a Japanese martial art focused on using the sword, drawing and cutting in a single stroke. It is practiced in prearranged movements called kata, against an imaginary opponent. Last weekend members of Wellington Iaidō Club attended the largest iaidō seminar held in New Zealand with Kazuhisa Kaneda Sensei. To say this seminar was a level up is an understatement, big thanks to everyone that attended Sensei's visit and now so much to contine to learn!
