A big congratulations to Amy Turner, our QBE Insurance Volunteer of the Month for March and the final recipient for the season! 👏

Here’s what was shared as part of Amy’s nomination:

Amy “Mush” Turner is a quiet but unwavering champion of female cricket in Wellington. Alongside organising the City Suburbs Div 3 team, she also takes the field each week. She plays a key role in driving the annual Social Sixes competition and is the force behind City Suburbs’ highly effective weekly socials, supporting both senior and junior teams. Amy is also a founding member of the City Suburb Hub Committee, representing Vic Uni CC.

Keep an eye out for voting for the QBE Volunteer of the Year coming soon, with the winner to be announced at our Cricket Wellington Community Awards next Thursday (9 April).

Congratulations to our very own Mush!
for winning the title of Volunteer of the Month from Cricket Wellington.
In additional to managing the Div 3 team she also heads up the social sixes and the community's social media. City Suburbs is one of the only clubs to highlight achievements across all levels and celebrates the big efforts from the young girls to the higher grades. Thanks for all your work, Mush!
