Today, some of our Programmes team went over a few coaching tips to upskill their knowledge.

Our Programmes Coordinator, Ryan, took the group through various sports and games to help them become more adaptable in the school sessions each of them run 🏒

It was also a good excuse for the team to bring out their competitive side and have a bit of fun on the courts!

What's in store for June?

The answer: All of our usual programmes plus something new!

Introducing 'Early Manu', an early morning Social Sports session for all ages and abilities. The very first Early Manu session on 3 June will be free entry to celebrate 🏓

Outside of our programmes, we also host lots of events that you can come along to and watch! For June, we have popped some of these events in a schedule so you can see what's on and when 👊

We will be hosting a facility-wide event over King's Birthday Weekend, from 30 May - 1 June.

Whilst all courts will be unavailable for public bookings, feel free to come along and support those competing in Volleyball New Zealand's 2026 Inter Provincial Champs!

Mercury Nonu - made his official NBL debut with the Mills Albert Wellington Saints 🏀

Rob King - playing for Central Tairanga, who just won against the WBOP Men's netball team on Saturday 🥇

Grace Southby and Yasmin Mayall - players in Netball Central Zone Manawa squad, who claimed victory against Northern Marvels in Auckland last weekend ⭐

We have three programmes for you to book your tamariki into, depending on what they're after:

Fun and Run
🤸‍♀️ Ages 5-12
🏰 On-site activities such as inflatables, crafts, themed days and more

Sporting Skills
⭐ Ages 7-13
⚽️ Learn and play three different sports each day

Break Out
🎸 Ages 11-14
🎳 Trip days to Willis Lane, Respawn, Fergs and more

Introducing ‘Early Manu’ 🐦 🏓

For those of you who love our Social Sports programme, or who want to give it a go at an earlier time, this is for you!

Early Manu (early birds) is a social environment where you can play pickleball, table tennis, and badminton.

📅 Wednesdays, starting 3 June

⏰ 6:30am - 8:30am

✅ $6.00 casual entry

Plus, on 3 June only, you will get free entry and one free coffee from our onsite Cafe Oat Cafe . Just show them your Social Sports pass to claim ☕️
