On Friday night, our Senior and Intermediate drumming students were invited to perform at Tamil Beyond Borders: WMS Tamil Youth Fest!

Our students presented a vibrant fusion musical item, bringing together traditional Sri Lankan drums with the flute, violin, saxophone, guitar, and singing 🥁🎻🎷🎸🇱🇰🇳🇿

It was an exciting event to be part of, supporting such a worthy cause, with 100% of funds raised going towards Nepal flood relief. Thank you to the organisers for having us and for giving our students the opportunity to be part of a meaningful evening! ❤️

Yesterday, we were thrilled to have our Intermediate students take the stage at Hutt Multifest at Lower Hutt Town Hall! ❤️🌏🇱🇰

Our students proudly showcased their dancing and drumming skills with vibrant traditional Sri Lankan performances, making all of us very proud. It was wonderful to see our younger students sharing their culture with the wider community, and working on their confidence, dancing, drumming, and performance skills

A special thank you to our wonderful parents for their continued support, and to our Guru, Mohan Sudusinghe, for his guidance and dedication in nurturing our students and helping them grow as performers

Thank you to the Hutt Multicultural Council Inc for having us and for providing our students with the opportunity to take the stage and share a little piece of Sri Lankan culture with the community. A lovely event to be a part of, showcasing the rich diversity and culture we have in Te Awa Kairangi, Hutt Valley 🌺
