Fantastic new culinary initiative. We popped into Moore Wilson's earlier today and had the most delicious lunch from the Pomegranate Kitchen pop-up. Beautiful dishes prepared by former refugees and delivered to Wellington workplaces. Please check out their Pledgeme and get behind this fantastic community project...

We're loving New World Thorndon Little Garden giveaway!
Junior Foodie has never taken any particular interest in our veggie garden but this promotion has him totally captivated.
His first seeds sprouted on yesterday and his excitement was a total joy!
Thank you New World for helping our children become motivated to grow their own veggies. Such a beautiful gift.

My junior foodie loves guacamole. Takes minutes to make. The perfect after school snack. With a few tortilla chips this tasty snack is also gluten-free friendly.
Roughly chop half a medium sized red onion, peel and roughly chop half an avocado, half a bunch of coriander, a pinch of sweet smoked paprika, juice of one lime.
Pop it all in the blender and blitz until smooth.
Be sure to save a few for yourself....
