Our Ewen Chatfield Final is locked in for this Sunday 🏆

Hutt District and Vic Uni will go head to head for the Ewen Chatfield Trophy in the ROBLAWMAX Division 1 one day final. The venue will be confirmed after Saturday’s results, with a reserve date to be confirmed if wet weather comes into play.

The club is very proud of the Premier side for reaching the Premier one day final to be played this Sunday.

The venue will either be at Kelburn Park or the Hutt Rec depending on the results of the final round robin games being played on Saturday.

This is an outstanding achievement for the club and justifies our premier team’s inclusion in the new 8 team Premier competition that started this season.

We will update this post on Saturday night once we know where the final will be played on Sunday.

The club would encourage all past and present players and supporters to come along to support the team on Sunday.

Prems all-rounder Ari Bonar made a blistering 124 from 110 on day one against North City today. The innings included 11 4s and 7 6s

Players, partners, friends, and family! VUWCC invites you to our annual Xmas Party at our Kelburn Park Clubrooms on Saturday 14th of December. Food will be provided, the bar will be in operation with its usual supply of Waitoas, Pals, wine, etc – including a seasonal cocktail too!

Come and celebrate the first half of the season and the dawn of summer-proper.

Tomorrow sees the return of Premier Women’s cricket to KP for the first time since 2006!

To celebrate, the club will be putting on food afterwards and the bar will be operating as well. Everyone is welcome

VUWCC Past vs Present Day – Kelburn Park Sunday 10 March 2024

This Sunday the club holds its annual Past vs Present Men’s and Women’s T20 games.

This season the club is dedicating the day in honour of Liz Mardell (nee Murray) who sadly passed away at the end of last year. Liz was instrumental in the club having a Senior Women’s side in the mid 2000’s. Liz also played over 50 games for the Women’s team from early to late 2000’s.

The Women’s T20 match starts at 10am and includes the following players:
