Little Makos Swim School

Little Makos Swim School Little Makos is a swim school that caters for children aged 6 months old - 12 yrs old of all levels of swimming ability from beginner to advanced swimmers.

We run Waterbabies classes for children aged from 6 months - 3 years old. From 3 years of age children will be in swimming classes without their parent starting from water confidence classes teaching children to float right through to advanced classes where we teach children to swim all 4 swimming strokes with good technique. Classes only have a maximum of 5 children per class with a maximum of two classes running in our pool at any one time meaning your child will have little to distract them from concentrating on their lesson. We also run private classes with 1 on 1 tuition with one of our instructors for swimmers who need that extra push or need the confidence of this type of intensive work. We have a great variety of different class levels and times each week so please contact us today to talk to us about your child's swimming needs.

Our intensive holiday programmes are a great way to get your child ready for Term 4 and summer swimming. Your child swims every day at the same time with the same teacher for 5 lessons. Half a term of lessons in one week makes a huge difference to their ability.
We have the full range of classes available and can also do private 1-1 lessons for the week.
We are running Monday 28th September - 2nd October at both facilities.

We currently have a number of spaces available at both our facilities - Miramar North School & Berhampore School pools. We have classes that run Monday - Sunday at all ability levels from 6 months of age to 12 years. We book your child according to their ability level rather than age (except for our waterbabies classes) and if you have more than one child swimming with us try and get classes that are close together.

We have intensive holiday lessons running from Monday 13th -17th July at both pool facilities. Your child comes everyday at the same time with the same teacher. It's a great way to boost their swimming with children swimming half a term of lessons in just one week!
Brenda is our instructor for Miramar North lessons and Nardous at Berhampore school. We have group and private lessons available. $90.00 for group and $250.00 for private lessons.

We have a lot of lost property at both our pools. This is a picture of the lost property at Berhampore, we would love to reunite people with their stuff. It will be on the table until the weekend. We are open from 10-6pm tomorrow, 8-2pm Saturday and 8-4pm Sunday. It is our last community swim at Berhampore for the term from 1.30-4pm 🙂

Hi team, it has been a massive and devastating week for the Berhampore Community.
For those that would like to contribute Berhampore School is opening up contributions to the wider community. Baking donations can be dropped off between 9 and 10am Saturday and Sunday to Little Makos Swim School and parent volunteers will distribute from late morning.
Please drop baking in disposable containers (or tupperware you don't need back) ideally with any allergens listed. Donations of paper plates also greatly appreciated.

We are also opening for our usual free community swim on Sunday from 1.30-4.00pm for any members of the community that would appreciate a swim this long weekend.

$180 for the term and we also offer a 10% family discount for booking more than one child for lessons with us.
