The wonderful weekend of bowls, hosted by Newlands IBC at the NWIBA Hall in Onepoto, with 242 Pairs on Saturday and 9 Bowl Triples on Sunday - both with over $1,000 in prize money - are next weekend, 29 & 30 March 2025… If you haven’t got an entry in yet, send one to Steve Preston by 7pm on the evening of Friday 28 March either by email to [email protected] or ph/txt 021-203-4545. Great to see everyone at our season opening night last week. this week is our "bring a friend" night. a couple of photos showing Ray bowling the first official bowl of the season. And it wasn't too bad!

To all those interested don’t forget to put your entry in for this early season weekend of bowls extravaganza.
Held over the last weekend in March (29-30). We have 9 bowl triples on the Saturday and 2-4-2 Pairs on Sunday.

Well done to the Newlands IBC Bowlers who made the final - Sean Rennwandt (runner-up) - and semifinals- Steve Gracie, Ros Alexander, Stacey Northover, Stephen Preston and Avon Compton - at the Hutt Valley Indoor Bowls Open Fours Tournament on Saturday in Lower Hutt!

Congratulations to Stacey Northover who teamed up with Grant Rayner to take out the Hutt Valley Indoor Bowls Open Pairs Tournament yesterday. Shout out also to Kyle Waldron who teamed up with Anjela Frost to reach the semifinals 🍾

Hutt Valley held our Maungaraki Pharmacy Open pairs today with 22 entries with 9 teams qualifying.

In the final Grant Rayner and Stacey Northover defeated Marcus & Dianne Trlin 9-7.
