Those players who are keen to on upskilling, build confidence and sharpen up on their umpiring skills this is a great workshop for you.
These workshops are fun and interactive.
Please register spots do fill up fast. We encourage all players to umpires through the season, for all senior players you will be required to umpire throughout your season.

Playing is not the only way to enjoy netball - umpiring can be just as fun! If eager to learn how, our Introductory Netball Umpire Holiday Programme returns Wednesday 14 January 9am-3pm at Ākau Tangi Sports Centre. We welcome Year 8 & older to familiarise yourself with rules, hand signals, voice & whistle protocol. With this age group, we’ve switched focus towards enhancing personal wellbeing & life skills with a Pathfinders programme run in collaboration with Skylight Trust. This empowering programme is FREE to attend specially designed for our young women & non-binary netball members whether player, umpire or coach. Come & meet others, boost your self-confidence, explore who you are as a person and untap potential leadership qualities you may not know you possess. This awesome series sponsored by Wellington City Council will be presented by psychologist Taylor Noble. Taylor has a real passion for the sports sector, she currently works with the Wellington Phoenix, Wellington Blaze and Hurricanes Poua. In these roles she supports athletes to build mental strength, resilience, and a strong sense of identity—helping them thrive on and off the field.
This seminar series consists of 3 workshops focusing on 3 different topics:
