In my years as a stunt performer in New Zealand and abroad, I have spent a great deal of time training actors and extras so that they can perform their roles they have been cast in. CFC has been laying low for the last 4 years! But we are coming back! New Swordplay, Stunt, and Stage Combat Workshops coming soon!
We have been receiving lots of requests lately from new and previous students.
Thanks for all your support and we hope to bring you some news on locations and dates for upcoming workshops very soon. This will also include updates on the Level 2 course for past students.
Hello everyone! We have been quiet on the workshop front for a while but be assured, we are still here.
A few projects keep us very busy the last few months but we have some a range of swordplay workshops in development. This will include workshops in Auckland, Wellington, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

Congratulations to Orlando Bloom, Evangeline Lilly and all the stunt people involved on winning Best Fight at the MTV Movie Awards.
I was Orlando's double for this fight and had my part in helping to choreograph some of it too. Nice work to all involved.

You may look at this pic and think a 3-way knockout is about to happen but it's actually just a snap-shot of the action in a very tricky fight sequence that students learnt and performed at the Wellington Swordplay Workshop. Great students and a great weekend.

The Wellington Swordplay Workshop. Over the 2 days everyone put in over 16hours of swordplay. I had to enforce the breaks as none seemed to want to stop. More workshops coming soon including a Level 2 course for returning students. Thanks again for all the support. - Allan Smith
