With 2025 drawing to a close we prepare for the 2026 season.

We would like to invite you to join us this Sunday the 30th, at 1pm for our club meet and greet. We invite players from the 2025 season, new players wanting to join next year and your families. We are happy and open to meeting everyone wanting to be a part of the GYU family.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved coach Kitiona Leota. Kit played a big part in putting this GYU team together. He was a great Coach, brother, friend, son, and Father. Kit poured his heart into this team and never stopped supporting even when he wasn’t well. He was a faith pillar in our team that the boys respected and loved. He stuck with us right to the end, never doubting what God had in store for us and held onto his faith.

We would like to send our love and condolences to his family during such a difficult time. Axemen GYU will never forget the legacy he left not only in this team but in this club too.

Kit was just another soldier that has been called home alongside our sister Liz, what seemed early in our eyes, but in perfect timing to our Lord’s eyes.
