Big things are on the horizon for basketball in Aotearoa! 🏀
For the first time ever, Basketball New Zealand has partnered with the China Basketball Association, opening the door to new opportunities, stronger pathways and deeper global connections for our game.
From players and coaches, to fans and communities, this partnership is about growing basketball here at home while connecting with the game on a global stage.
A big thank you to China Southern Airlines for getting our crew to China comfortably and stress-free!

The 3x3 Tall Blacks World Cup campaign came to a close following a Play-In loss to eventual champions Latvia.
Finishing 10th out of 20 teams, equalling our tournament-best result, the campaign provided a valuable opportunity to benchmark against the world’s best and gain important experience as the programme continues to develop.
Focus now shifts to the Commonwealth Games in Scotland this coming July ⏭️🏴
