Well done to our ladies for a great start to their 2024 season at the Whakatane Competition Grading Day on Saturday. Again we have three teams registered this year…Paroa Wheke, Paroa Tytanz and the return of our Paroa Crusaders team. We are looking forward to a great season! 🙌🏼🐙

Rugby kicks off this weekend on home soil with the rivalry of the year….Our Senior A’s taking on Poroporo. But before that, we are excited for the return of our Paroa Senior B team who starts off their season by hosting the revitalised team of Kawerau Sports after many years.
Even more excitingly, next week we have our Paroa AJs beginning their season back in the Tauranga Open Premier League. They secured their spot in Division 1 and will be first facing up against the talented team of Ngongotaha Prem.
We encourage and would appreciate you all to come and support any of our Paroa teams throughout the season

It’s our turn to host the Rosebowl!
This Good Friday Paroa R.S.C is hosting Huria, Rangiuru and Rangataua for the second to last weekend of this year’s Rosebowl series.
First up we have Huria taking on Rangiuru commencing at 1pm, followed up by our Paroa Senior Rugby facing up against Rangataua, kicking off at 2.45pm
If you’re not doing anything this Good Friday, come on down and support our men and our club!
Dj Dallas will be making an appearance as our entertainment for the after function.

Whakatane Tai Mitchell muster for 2024 is on Monday 8 April 3.30pm-5.00pm at Rugby Park Whakatane. All aspiring year 6-7-8 players welcome to come along. Bring appropriate clothing, boots, and mouthguard.
