There were several significant contributions yesterday, but the standout performance came from Siddarth Bhatia in Division 2, who produced a superb 63-ball century.

In his first IPT appearance, Bhatia delivered a clinical innings in a pressure chase, showcasing composure and experience. Particularly strong on the on side, he controlled the tempo of the innings with smart shot selection and excellent strike rotation. Fittingly, he brought up his maiden IPT hundred by striking the winning runs, sealing a memorable victory for the Grizzlies.

A special performance on a big stage. Congratulations, Sid 💯

On the back of two strong victories in the previous rounds, the Kauri Bay Districts Grizzlies Division 2 side will contest the Final today in a 45-over fixture against Auckland.

With silverware on the line, the focus will be on executing the basics under pressure, maintaining intensity for the full 45 overs and embracing the moment.

It promises to be a fitting finale to the competition, with the Grizzlies determined to finish their campaign in style.
