Young US Open winner Emma Raducanu is coming to the 2023 ASB Classic. Great experience and opportunity to watch players of this calibre if you can make it to Auckland.
This is one we know you've been waiting for! US Open winner Emma Raducanu confirmed for the ASB Classic ✨✨✨
Raducanu stunned the tennis world when she won the US Open in 2021, becoming the first player to win a Grand Slam after going through qualifying.
Her stunning performance, where she met Leylah Fernandez in the final, saw her win 10 straight matches and 20 consecutive sets to become the first British player to win a Grand Slam in nearly half a century. 🏆
🗣 “I’m really looking forward to coming to New Zealand. I’ve heard so many good things about the tournament." said Raducanu.
The British star, who turned 20 this week, joins World No 7 Coco Gauff, fellow American Sloane Stephens and Canadian No 1 Leylah Fernandez among the world’s best to sign up for the WTA women’s event from 2 January at the ASB Tennis Arena in Stanley St.
