We are loving seeing our younger cycling enthusiasts out on the track. Well done Ben.
The rain stopped, the track dried and our youth riders came!! With Christmas done and dusted the energy was high and we had some fast legs zooming around the boards! Well done Ben on being named RIDER OF THE DAY, you got speed for Christmas!! Well done 👏👏 Choosing a new shirt from the famous Aaron Gate collection was a real treat!!

Not long to go until the track is in use again. What a great day that will be.
A blessing ceremony to mark the completion of the Cooks Gardens Velodrome’s track reinstatement was held yesterday morning, 4 September. Among invited guests were kaumātua John Maihi, Whanganui Mayor Andrew Tripe and representatives of the Whanganui Cycling Club.
The work to install the new track was done by German specialist contractors Velotrack, and Whanganui Cycling Club’s cycling season is scheduled to begin in mid-to-late October. Read more about this project at: https://bit.ly/47ZMeo7
