Happy Easter everyone.

Devon 7v

Just before we begin would like to say a massive thank you to dad for the work in the shed last week to get my car out for the championship we just raced over the weekend.

Raced Stratford last Saturday and a home meeting on the Sunday. End with 2 3rds and an 8th in Stratford.

Had grids 14,6 and 7 on the Sunday.

Race 1- started 14, slow start but make some progress making passes and ended up getting 7th.
Race 2- started 6th, with a good start made my way into the lead with a good battle with dad for it unfortunately a red come on and the race was called. Finishing 2nd.

Didn’t make it out for race 3 as I leant the car to one of the youth drives to have a go in after he rolled his and unfortunately he’d rolled mine as well but he walked away with a smile and not hurt which always mates. With to much damage we loaded it up on the trailer and started making a plan for the week before our big championship.

Manawatu Adult Ministock Champs.
31 cars entered for this event and was split into two groups I had grids 13 and 2.
Race 1- Started 13th, I did what I wanted to do which was make as many places as I could to get and front grid for the one race final. Made my way through to 3rd 🥉
Race 2- Started 2, got the jump of the start and lead the whole way to the finish with lots of pressure from behind.
Ended up tied for 1st place on point in my group and got grid 2 for the 15 lap final.
Race 3- started 2- got another good jump off the start and lead till the white flag and crossed the line in 2nd 🥈 the winner ended up getting relegated for passing on pole line. So got the win 🥇

Hey team has been a while since my last write up and have done a few meetings.

At home in Wanganui I managed an 8th equal at the West Coast Champs and have grabbed a few wins in the other meetings. Last weekend I managed a win in the first race with 34v Brad and 7v Devon getting the 2nd and 3rd. How good have the three Wilson Motorsport cars going 1,2,3. To top it off Devon won the other two races with myself getting 2nd.

Got down to Palmy for a meeting early new year and managed a 4th and two 2nds with one of them being won by Devon so a 1,2 finish for the team. Looking forward to the Manawatu Champs in two weeks on the 21st.

Stratford has been one we have visited regularly and definitely getting the car sorted for their track and managing a couple of wins up there which I haven’t managed before. The best thing so far about Stratford is getting this awesome pic of our three cars all battling on track. Couldn’t have got it any better.

Devon 7v
Another couple of meetings out of the way with 2 home meeting and one in Stratford. Overall good meetings.

Last Saturday was racing at home with on 14 cars but we had grids 13,7,1.
Race 1- started of grid 13. With a slow start slowly making my way through with some good battles and fast laps ended up making my way to 3rd 🥉
Race 2- started 7th. With a better started made my way to 4th with some more good battles and some fast racing made some pressure on the cars in front to get the passes and take the lead. Ended up getting the win 🥇.
Race 3- started of the front got the start and lead from start to finish. 🏁🏁.
Over all three race I had the fastest lap in all of them which I’m absolutely stoked with.

Just a quick update on my racing
Last Wednesday we had a practice meeting I was fortunate enough to have a skid in the 22v Level Up Building car

Was fun to jump in their car for a couple of races getting to battle in different car ended up starting off the back in the first 2 races making a few passes and getting a feel for a different car in the last race I started near the front and got to battle with the other Level Up Racing car

Devon 7v

Long time between updates done a few meetings lately.

Had a meeting at Wanganui, Palmy and Stratford. Can’t remember much but have had some good races and a couple of wins along the way.

Raced Stratford on Saturday. Grids were 11,24,6

Race 1- started 11th with abit of a slow start but made some ground good race finishing 5th. Car handled well just a bit of a change before the second race.

Race 2- started 24th with a way better start running the outside line the whole race making my way to 4th with some good battles during the race. The set up change made a big difference helping it get round the corners abit smoother.

Race - started 6th with a decent start made my way to 3rd ended up getting half spun and hitting the wall. Got going again and then end up getting an outside flat so had to retire. Dnf

Car is up for sale get at me if you’re interested.

Lincon 17v

On Saturday the 29th we had the West Coast champs at home

Race 1 started 19th finished 4th
Race 2 started 7th finished 4th
Race 3 started 11th finished 6th
This earned us 3rd place for the West Coast champs on 67 points

Dad had a bit of fun aswell in the wheel packer even getting a flag lap
