We are a fun community group set up for Hand Drumming in Whanganui. We meet regularly and share structured rhythms & also freestyle open drumming circles.
You might see us out performing, playing beside the river or enjoying a beach drum The regular 'Community Drumming Whanganui' meets weekly Thursday evenings from 6.30pm to 8.30pm (or later). The evening has two modes. The first part of the night we learn something structured together, most often a rhythm which has origins in Africa. Also we are planning on printing another batch of our Tshirts, or hoodies. You can supply the garment or buy one from the printers, the cost will be $14 for printing front and back with Jacqueline Brands fab graphics 🤩 Get in touch if you’re keen

It's been a little while! ... and we have some brand new drummers 🤩
We will be out playing tomorrow evening for part of Mainstreets late night Xmas shopping festivities (between 5.30 and 6.30'ish) ... come on down 🎄💃🪘
