Rivercity Golf - Tawhero Golf Course

It is with much sadness that we advise the passing of Geoff Gilsenan, a long‑standing and much‑respected member of Tawhero Golf Club.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at the club on Tuesday 8th September at 11.00am, on either the 1st or 3rd tee block depending on conditions on the day.
As a mark of respect, the course will be closed from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
Our thoughts are with Geoff’s whānau at this time.

🚧 Driving Range Fully Closed for Upgrade

We’ve made the hard decision to close completely for the duration of the Toptracer upgrade. With so many moving parts and a full refurb underway, it’s simply unsafe to operate during this process.

We’re on schedule to reopen Wednesday, 16 September, and can’t wait to welcome everyone back to a brand‑new experience.

Thank you for your understanding and patience while we make the range better than ever.

Rivercity Golf is levelling up — not long now before we open!

Hi all Golfers

Council will be starting to remove some of the trees on the golf course tomorrow. This means that holes 2, 3 and 4 will be strictly closed until Saturday morning. Revised layout is 1,5,6,7,8,9 then back to 1 and so on. To our Tawhero members no Top Dog matches will be able to be played until the weekend. As always check into the Pro Shop prior to playing to stay updated. Enjoy your week.
