Boat Storage & Membership Update
Hi Team!
As our club continues to grow, we need to tidy up our boat storage and membership records so things are fair and sustainable for everyone.
In the past, storage hasn’t always been strictly managed. We’re drawing a clear line from this year forward so we can make space for active paddlers and club equipment.
To store a boat in the shed you must:
• Be a current financial member
• Pay the annual storage fee
2026 Fees:
• Storage (max 2 boats): $100 per year
• Adult membership: $60
• High school & under: $40
• More than 2 boats = additional $100 storage fee
Please note: The above fees cover membership and boat storage only. They do not include boat hire or coached programs.
If you currently have a boat in the shed and haven’t yet paid membership and storage for this year, please do so by 31 March:
https://whanganuimultisport.weebly.com
We won’t be back-charging for previous years, this is simply about getting everything current moving forward.
After 31 March, we’ll review the shed and contact owners of unpaid boats. If we can’t confirm payment or contact, we’ll need to consider reallocating that space to meet club needs.
Some boats have been sitting unused for quite some time. If that’s you, come have a chat with us. We’re happy to work through options.
Thank you to everyone who already keeps their fees up to date, it really does help the club operate smoothly!

Speaking on behalf of the Whanganui kayakers, Alexis says, “It was an amazing weekend, and all the early morning were reflected in the results. It couldn’t have happened without Brian Scott our amazing coach he does so much, and it is greatly appreciated.”
She adds, “If anyone wants to try kayaking come down to the multi-sport club on Monday or Wednesday afternoons at 4pm or Saturday at 10am to have a go.”
