This is an opportunity for our whanau who were unable to attend the first whanaungatanga day to participate. Those who attended the first are encouraged to attend also.

Ngā Tai o Tokerau are excited to announce our two teams traveling to Morrinsville to compete at Te Ika a Maui from June 20-21, 2026.

One of our favourite tournaments as this was where Ngā Tai o Tokerau first ever competed!

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported Ngā Tai o Tokerau on our journey to the Men’s Nationals 2026. From our whānau, hapu, friends, kura and wider community — your encouragement, aroha, and support meant everything to us.

This campaign came with its challenges, including being moved up a grade from what we had originally registered in. Despite that, our whānau stepped up and competed with passion, pride, and determination every time we took the court.

We’re incredibly proud of the team's achievement, just missing out on a semi-final spot — a testament to the hard work, resilience, and belief within this group.

To everyone who contributed in any way — whether it was through fundraising, messages of support, or being there in person — we carried you with us every step of the way.

Now we wait to see where and when the next Men's tournament is, with Mixed Nationals coming up in October as well whanau!

The first muster was a huge success, and we were genuinely impressed by the skill, intensity, and whanaungatanga on display.

The standard of netball, the way players connected on and off court, and the collective kaupapa made it clear that something special is building in the North.

This second muster is an important opportunity to build on that momentum, further develop combinations, and continue strengthening our kaupapa and hononga.

We encourage all players keen to be part of the Ngā Tai o Tokerau Men’s Netball journey toward Nationals to get involved.
