We would like to advise the Hockey Northland Community that Gail Ambler will be moving on from her role with Hockey Northland.
Gail joined Hockey Northland in 2013 and has been part of the organisation for more than 13 years, contributing across a range of administrative and operational areas during her time with us.
We thank Gail for her contribution and service to Hockey Northland and wish her all the best for the next chapter.

Good luck to the New Zealand W35's in the world masters Gold medal match against England. Special shout out to the Northlanders in the team, Jose Maratea, Huia Arahanga-Doyle, Jane Thompson, Alicia Jurisich, Hollie Smith.
We can't forget about Toni Wright (Mace) and Sunel Ferriera who are playing in the Bronze medal match for the W50s team at the world Masters.

Congratulations to Bill Hartnell on your appointment as Technical Official for the 2026 World Masters Hockey (WMH) Outdoor World Cup Tournament.
Bill will be officiating at the Women O55-O70 and Men 055-060 taking place in Brasschaat, Belgium from 6th to 16th August.
This appointment is a fantastic recognition of your dedication and ongoing contribution to hockey. Your commitment plays a vital role in the success fo our local Open Grade Competition. We wish you an enjoyable and successful tournament!

A special welcome to our U13 players, who are joining the Town & Country Series for the very first time! We can’t wait to see our future stars take the turf.

Good luck to all of our U13 and U16 players as they begin their Town & Country journey. Teams will be allocated on the day, so arrive ready to play, compete and enjoy the experience.
