A huge congratulations to all our Whangārei teams who competed at the Upper North Island Secondary Schools Tournament (UNISS).

We are incredibly proud of every player, coach, manager and supporter who represented their schools and our wider netball community throughout the tournament.

A special congratulations to the players who were recognised with tournament selections—an outstanding achievement and a wonderful reflection of your hard work, talent and commitment.

Well done to everyone involved. You have represented Whangārei with pride, and we look forward to following the next steps in your netball journeys!

TWILIGHT NETBALL – REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN!

A quick reminder that registrations are open for our 2026 Twilight Netball Series!

Whether you’re getting the team back together, keen for some social netball, or just looking for a fun way to finish the year — we’d love to see you on court!

There are plenty of ways to get involved:

Twilight Netball – Get your team together and register for the series.

Walking Netball – Turn Up & Play!
No team needed! Simply turn up and join in. A great way to enjoy netball, keep active and have some fun in a relaxed environment.

Intermediate Twilight – Expressions of Interest
We’re also taking registrations of interest from Intermediate teams keen to play Twilight. If you have a team that would be interested, please email Kelly at [email protected].

There’s something for everyone this Twilight season — grab your teammates, spread the word and come join us!

A massive congratulations to Tikipunga High School on being awarded the Positive Vibes Only Champion Award for 2026! 🏆

This amazing team is currently away competing at the Zespri AIMS Games, proudly representing their school and Whangārei Netball Centre.

The Positive Vibes Only Award recognises teams who demonstrate outstanding sportsmanship, respect, encouragement and positivity, both on and off the court.

Well done to the players, coaches, umpires and supporters for creating such an awesome team environment! We wish you all the best for the rest of your time away!
