The boss is away...😜

Hey, Carly here 🙂 It’s my not so little girls birthday this week, so we’re off to spend some quality time together with family. With that being said, there will technically be no staffed hours from today until Thursday 3 September. However, all the classes are covered and it will be business as usual for the gym and group fitness.

I will still be working (cos ya know.. You don’t ever stop when you own a business lol) so I’ll still be available for anything urgent or technical, you can reach me via phone on 020 4154 5066 or email [email protected].

You can also still sign up for memberships or casual passes all via Glofox, where you’ll receive door access via KISI. Then you’re welcome to book a free induction via the Glofox app - under the appoinment tab.

Look forward to seeing everyone when I get back 😄

Hey Everyone, Carly here! 👋 💁🏼‍♀️

Firstly, I want to acknowledge my amazing team here at the gym, as a single parent running a big operation solo I am forever grateful to have you guys. As most small business owners, I wear 10 different hats from all the social media, admin, coaching and mentoring - thank you guys for supporting me and the dream that was a delusional vision of a 20 year old girl (surely that was only about 5 years ago haha). Not gonna lie - this place keeps me up at night sometimes haha...I'm so proud of the team and I know they are just as passionate as I am. Along with sharing the same vision and values, they all bring so much to our gym.. THANK YOU!

It's been awesome to see all the connections and relationships grow within our different pockets of the gym, the 6am crew, the seniors and over on the gym side - and I'm really looking forward to bringing us all together with more social occasions after the colder months.

Keep a look out! We have a dinner coming up on Monday 7 September 6:30pm at Smittys, all are welcome to join us!

Here is your feedback wrapped!

Thank you to everyone who did our member survery - it will remain open, so do feel free to use the survery link at any time for feedback, comments or concerns. We would much rather know if you're not happy about things so we can fix it 🙂

In response to the suggestions, comments:

☑️ Please make sure your shoes are clean - no mud or sand. We strive to keep our gym looking clean and tidy
☑️ Wipe down equipment after use - use the wipes provided
Wear deodorant
☑️ Please do not hog the machines doom scrolling on your phone (save that for the couch)
Be considerate when the gym is busier with time on the equipment
☑️ Read the room.. Make sure the conversations you're sparking up are reciprocated

Issues we have or will soon be rectified:
☑️ The outside lights; I'm working on getting them put on a sensor/timer so it's not pitch black
☑️ The inside gym lights will be fixed within the next few days - we are waiting on parts to arrive
☑️ Under the treadmills got deep cleaned
☑️ There will be a sanitary bin put in the toilet on the group fitness side in the next 2 weeks
☑️ I've put a chair in the toilet on the gym side for when people get changed
☑️ I've put some signs up around the gym to remind people about wiping down machines and not hogging equipment.

The shower: This is a massive investment for me at the moment, and it would mean losing the little stretching and abs area on the gym side (as this is where I had planned to put it). The council process is quite something, especially in a commercial building - I have actually already spent nearly $3,000 just on a fire engineers report in preparation for even applying to the council! So at this stage it's still a work in progress financially. I have considered getting an outdoor shower but this also brings new things to navigate - like security, with an increased risk of the back door being left open, slippery floors etc. With all that being said, it's definitely something I will keep in the pipeline and will keep you up to date with the progress.

Lastly, I want to acknowledge our members who make this space such an incredible place to be everyday. I am so privileged to say I love what I do and where I get to spent my time.

THANK YOU 💖🫶🏻

Meet the team

Caz Duffield - personal trainer & group fitness instructor

Hi, I’m Caz 👋

I’m a qualified Personal Trainer, Olympic Weightlifting Coach and Sports Nutritionist, currently studying towards becoming a Clinical Nutritionist.

I’ve worked with everyone from athletes, rugby players, runners and CrossFitters to busy mums, over-60s and people rebuilding their fitness from scratch. Whatever your goal, I believe everyone deserves great coaching, genuine support and a plan that fits real life.

I’m passionate about continually learning and sharing that knowledge with my clients. I love helping people understand the why behind their training and nutrition, so they leave with the confidence and skills to keep progressing long-term.

For me, training isn’t just about the workout. It’s about building strength, confidence and resilience that carries into everyday life.

I’m particularly passionate about women’s health and how hormones, life stage and everyday demands can influence training, nutrition and recovery. As a mum myself, I understand that perfection isn’t realistic — we need strategies that actually work in the real world.

What I offer:
🏋️ 1:1 Personal Training
🎯 Sports & goal-specific coaching
🥗 Nutrition coaching & meal plans
🏆 Sports & competition nutrition
💪 Strength & skill-specific programs
🏋️‍♀️ Olympic lifting, pull-ups, gymnastics & barbell technique

If you’re ready to get stronger, feel more confident and understand your body better, I’d love to work with you. ❤️

Meet the team

Kev Jones - personal trainer, group fitness instructor and boxing coach

I’m a NZIS Health and Fitness Coach (Personal Trainer Level 4) with an AUT Diploma in Sport and Recreation, and level 1 & 2 REPS certified Shane Cameron Counterpunch boxing course. I’m passionate about helping both young people and older adults build confidence and develop their own strength through smart, evidence-based training.

I began in fitness because as a teen I loved being competitive in sports and developing to become better. Fitness being an extension of sports, one thing you can never question is how hard you work. I felt in the gym I could always know whether I have done exactly that. Work hard. Along the way in my fitness journey I came to realise I enjoy sharing that knowledge (of fitness) as much as applying it myself.

I tailor programs to fit each individual’s goals and abilities, focusing on practical progress, injury prevention, and long-term health. Whether you’re starting your fitness journey or leveling up your performance, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

I’m a qualified Mat Pilates Instructor and have been instructing at Infinite for 6 years.

Since my initial training, I’ve undertaken additional courses in advanced matwork, Pilates for back pain and pregnancy and small ball Pilates. I’m passionate about seeing our members embrace Pilates as a vital low impact, strength based core (abs/glutes) workout that provides balance for their other gym training and is truly beneficial to them in everyday life.

I welcome beginners trying Pilates for the first time as well as continuing to challenge my regulars to progress in their Pilates practice.
