Why do some classes have prerequisites?

Some of our classes, particularly Acro, Acro Cheer and higher-level classes, require dancers to have certain skills before joining.

Why? Because safety comes first. 💛

Prerequisites help ensure dancers:
✨ Have the strength and technique needed
✨ Can participate safely and confidently
✨ Are placed in a class that will help them progress successfully

They're not designed to keep anyone out — they're there to help every dancer have the best possible experience and set them up for success.

If you're unsure whether a class is the right fit, pop into the studio and have a chat with your teacher or Emma.

🎭 **So... what is Cabaret?** ✨

If you've never been to a cabaret show before, you're not alone!

Think of it as an evening of:
💎 Glamour
🎶 Music
💃 Dance
✨ Sparkle
🎭 Storytelling
😂 A few laughs
😉 And just a little cheeky fun!

Cabaret is all about entertainment. It's theatrical, creative and full of personality. Every performance is different, with a mix of group numbers, solos and surprises that will have you smiling from start to finish.

You don't need to know anything about cabaret to enjoy it. Just gather a few friends, grab a drink, settle into the atmosphere at Monkey House, and let us entertain you.

Did you know you can order your ADC uniform through the Studio Pro Portal?

That's right! 💛

You can order your studio uniform directly through the portal, making it easy to get your dancer ready for class.

We encourage students to wear the ADC uniform wherever possible. Not only does it create a real sense of belonging, but it also helps our teachers clearly see alignment, posture and technique during class.

A quick reminder too:
✨ Please avoid baggy clothing, oversized hoodies and loose pants, as these can make movement difficult to see.
(Our Hip Hop dancers get a free pass — baggy is part of the style! 😎)
