Construction: Glass over ply wood
Original power: 2x ford 6 cylinder petrol driving TRS legs, converted to single Chev 800hp Big block V8 and Bravo drive 1982
Current power: Mercruiser High Performance 525hp V8 502cui (8.2ltr) race engine and Bravo Sportmaster Drive
Rebuild: 2013 to a 5 seater
Speed: 80mph (130kph) + depending on number of crew onboard.

Finally after 12 months the engine is back together and ready to go on the dyno tomorrow for a run up. Cant wait for a test run into town with the boys for a couple of sherbets & back.
Well It's been a while since we have been in the water. After a season off as the engine destroyed its self a second time (and the engine builder didn't even give a s**t) we were pretty disappointed to be fair. However the good news is we are rebuilding at this time. Will keep you informed as we go and hope to do some runs in November 2018.

CRC Motorsport:2017 Powerboat Championship - Round 3 Round three sees a long drive for boats and crews down the East Coast to Gisborne. With the first two races experiencing relative calm conditions, the race is notorious for rough big sea swells.
