A new chapter is coming and we are excited to share that we will be moving locations to Hahei beach for summer 2026 ⛱️

Our last day of bikes and bowls in Whitianga will be Saturday 28th March x

Our inspiration?
To allow tourists to travel like locals - see everything and miss nothing.

We’ve all travelled to new destinations and played tourist in the hotspots. Sometimes we’re left wondering what did I miss? Or, where do the locals go?

The Cathedral Cove coastline has an abundance of beauty, local eateries, wineries and secluded beaches many travellers miss. That’s why we created the map for you.

Our e-bikes hit 35kmph. You can cover this whole map in a day 🌞 The bikes are hands down the best way to travel this coastline. Not to mention the most sustainable.

A huge thank you to who is the creator of this work of art. We approached Luke after seeing his detailed and playful designs for companies in North America. We are so stoked and proud to now see his maps on the other side of the equator, in New Zealand & all over the Coromandel 🌿

It took a long time to find exactly the hat we were looking. We wanted a relaxed, earthy fit. 100% washed cotton. Something we could throw morning on from dusk till dawn and every adventure in between. We’re more than stoked with how these lids turned out.

Our first ever month at Hikomoto DONE 🌺

We are soooo grateful for all the love and support we received these past few weeks. Wow wow wow. Thank you so much to everyone that turned out, tried our açaí bowls, hired bikes and shared the love. What was just an idea for us has now become reality and we are so stoked to be able to do what we do in our favourite place in the whole world 🌍

We can’t wait to grow from here and keep the good times coming 🫶🏽
